Exactly exactly! Never give up. Never say there are no words left. Say the words. All the words. Keep saying them. All the time. Everywhere. Be outraged. Speak up for those with no rights. Don’t normalise this.

At a recent Prime Minister's Questions, I called on the Prime Minister not to cut support for disabled people. I said he should introduce a Wealth Tax on the very wealthiest in our society. We should not be balancing the books on the backs of the poorest and most vulnerable.

“The world has changed” says Chancellor on #bbclaurak. Yes it has - so why stick to outdated counterproductive austerity agenda & arbitrary fiscal rules? You can’t cut your way to growth. Taxes on extreme wealth of super rich would be far fairer & more effective than more cuts

There is always an alternative. Remember that when you hear any claims that cuts are needed because the economic circumstances have changed. A Wealth Tax of just 2% on assets over £10 million would raise £24 BILLION per year. That's the "tough choice" that should be made.

Rachel Reeves is right that the world has changed - so why won’t she change her strategy to reflect it? Rigid adherence to arbitrary fiscal rules & refusing wealth taxes is a political choice that’s causing untold pain as well as laying out the welcome mat for populist Reform UK

A new poll shows 89% of Labour members support a Wealth Tax. Other polls show a massive 78% of the public back a 2% wealth tax on assets worth more than £10 Million. The Goverment should listen, drop the cuts to disability benefits and bring in a Wealth Tax instead

We shouldn’t cut a single penny in support for disabled people. We should tax the wealthiest instead. Over 50,000 have backed my petition for wealth taxes, not cuts - as part of our campaign to get as many MPs as possible to vote down these cuts. Sign👇 change.org/wealthtaxes-no…

We ARE becoming strangers — not because of migrants, but because of insecure work, (anti-)social media, lack of shared spaces and low wages preventing socialising. Bring back youth clubs, fix community centres, support workers. Invest in our country — don’t scapegoat migrants.

An anonymous Labour cabinet minister quoted in the Times nails it: “The truth is there are a lot of people whose lives have been shit for a long time. They rolled the dice with Brexit, they rolled the dice with Boris and then they rolled the dice again with us. They need to see

Some choose to ridicule the idea of being ‘woke’. But for me it’s about the huge challenge of working to be well-informed, thoughtful, compassionate, respectful & alive to the insights, contexts & needs of others, in order to make the planet a more just place for all!
