As the first tweet of my group's twitter account, something exciting: today we took delivery of a PSI Rovercam. A powerful field based fluorescence imaging device, part of @UoNFutureFood field phenotyping setup. In a few weeks time we may even have finished unpacking it.

We are overusing land and need alternative sustainable crops. Here I am screening photosynthetic efficiency in accessions of the aquatic plant, duckweed. Which grow fast, cover water globally and are high in proteins and nutrients.
