So many highlights from today but standout moment in the family activities tent Shakespeare B Trust Anne Hathaway’s cottage - sympathetic and unshowy family engagement became a masterclass in how to bring a heritage site to life.
Not enough superlatives in the dictionary to describe how perfect Mary Arden’s Farm is Shakespeare B Trust - lucky to be there for their handfasting festival. Whole family loved it. Blog to follow.
On my way to Museums + Heritage Show & Awards - very much looking forward to a number of the talks, especially Kids in Museums and theWholeStory
Fabulous day Museums + Heritage Show & Awards really enjoyed listening to Caroline Marcus Associates from Kids in Museums and Autism in Museums first thing this morning and equally inspired by Emma Morioka and Elizabeth McKay from Historic Royal Palaces - loved how much focus on the performing arts there was -buzzing with ideas!
Fantastic talk from Dave Wright and Paul Taylor’s from Shakespeare B Trust at Museums + Heritage Show & Awards today. Really love the work they do in those incredible spaces.
Really enjoyed the personal anecdotes in GEM talk today Museums + Heritage Show & Awards - I’ve seen first hand how transformative these experiences can be and love the work that Rachel Tranter and Nathalie Palin were describing.
