Last week, flooding hit the Chagoua district in Chad, affecting around 100 homes. Croix-Rouge du Tchad volunteers are on the ground, providing essential support to those impacted by this natural disaster.
The @IFRC, Cameroon Red Cross and CROIX-ROUGE GABONAISE teams are actively collaborating with the government and other humanitarian organizations in strategic meetings on preparedness, control, vaccines, and communication to develop a plan for preventing and controlling #Mpox.
With the rainy season continuing in the far north of #Cameroon, Cameroon Red Cross volunteers are hard at work providing assistance to people affected by the #floods, although more assistance is needed to support around 19,000 households, or some 159,000 people affected.

Nigerian Red Cross Society HQ organized a T.O.T for Severe Acute Malnutrition (S.A.M) and a review of the mother’s club manual. The training focused on nutrition assessment, Maternal Infant and Young Child Nutrition (MIYCN), and Integrated Management of Acute Malnutrition (IMAM). IFRC Africa
