Ahead of the National Nutrition Sentinel Surveillance supported by WFP The Gambia & UNICEF The Gambia we are training data collectors to assess the nutritional status of #women and #children for early detection, monitoring trends, and insights into the prevalence of #malnutrition .

Supported by CatholicRelief ,we wrapped an 8️⃣ days workshop with partners to develop Social and Behavioural Change Communication (SBCC) tools and materials for large-scale #foodfortification and #biofortification. Which aims to promote nutrition, and wellness on a broader scale.
Earlier on , NaNA_Gambia with partners met to document progresses made in #Nutrition for 2023; reflecting on interventions,programs and planning the future through the Nutrition Technical Advisory Meeting ( NTAC) Joint Annual Assessment of Scaling Up Nutrition (SUN) Movement for improved nutrition.
The National Nutrition Council convened its maiden meeting for 2024 chaired by HE V.P 🇬🇲. Discussions focused on the nutrition landscape and recommendations for NaNA_Gambia Board of Directors and the Management to advance country’s #nutrition related goals.
