I don’t want to connect my coffee machine to the wifi network. I don’t want to share the file with OneDrive. I don’t want to download an app to check my car’s fluid levels. I don’t want to scan a QR code to view the restaurant menu. I don’t want to let Google know my location

For me it was a little Mazda B2200, loved that truck! Learned to drive stick with it, commuted to my part time job hand converting small-town newspaper articles to HTML…

Use case idea for ChatGPT Agent mode: share a driving start point and destination, and ask it to monitor traffic conditions and alert you if you need to change your departure time. For a sample size of exactly 1 trip, it worked pretty darn well for me!

“LLMs work best when the user defines their acceptance criteria before the first line of code is generated” Funny thing, that works really well for human devs, too. Do clear, testable, atomic requirements next!

If it was literally ANY other make of car, it wouldn’t be part of the headline. Chevy? Lexus? $150,000 Range Rover? “D4vd’s car”, or “SUV.” But if it’s a Tesla, somehow the brand is relevant enough to a celebrity alleged murder story to include in. the. headline.
