In honour of #NationalDayforTruthandReconciliation and #OrangeShirtDay the staff and students of Bridgeview created this large orange weaving. It will hang at the front of the school as a reminder of our commitment to truth and reconciliation. #sd36learn #sd36tl
One of my goals in ADST is to teach students how to be lifelong learners. I often introduce projects with live demonstrations, but soon I defer to instructions from books and videos. #lifelonglearning #selfefficacy #sd36learn #sd36adst #sd36tl #choice Bridgeview
The music teacher and I taught all of the upper intermediate students this afternoon in a lesson that combined art, music, science and history. We learned about Wassily Kandinsky, synesthesia, elements of art, and new ways to listen to music. #sd36learn Bridgeview

Iâve done mindfulness exercises with students K-12. It can be challenging to assess the success of the program until a few weeks/months have passed and the students share reflections. These grade 6-7s did a Smiling Mind program with me. #sd36learn #sd36SEL
Inspired by Peaceful Fights for Equal Rights, students researched peaceful protests and protest symbols. We had so much fun dissecting the words and images of this book. @RobSandersWrite Jared Andrew Schorr #sd36learn #sd36tl
In the first iteration of this game, the students made one controller. Then they decided it would be more fun if they made it collaborative by splitting the controller in two. #scratch #makeymakey #sd36tl #sd36tl Bridgeview
