I love giving students more choice with PBL's, but how do we best assess the varying PBL's when students are given choice in types of projects - especially with rubric equality? #edtechteamonline

For a true PBL, it is necessary for students to be able to learn through trial and error. So "failure" is part of the process so that they can revise and learn from mistakes. There is no "right way" or "final answer." Thus reflection is a key component. #edtechteamonline

When implementing a PBL, how do you answer questions/help/coach when you aren’t necessarily sure about the finished project when you’ve never done it before? #edtechteamonline

In Kevin Brookhouser's discussion during the google hangout about Problem Based Learning, I enjoyed his commentary regarding students' feelings of apathy when given freedom of choice - so echoing the mantra - no idea is a bad idea during brainstorming process. #edtechteamonline

My biggest concern with flipped learning is having to reteach concepts that students were supposed to grasp in the flipped activity. How do we best ensure students are fully understanding the information provided? #edtechteamonline

I feel the most appealing aspect of the blended/flipped model is giving more time in class for collaboration and authenitc learning. It also provides more of a potential opportunity for one-on-one contact with students which is harder in a typical class period. #edtechteamonline

I also like the tools Mary Ellen West provided concerning practice in blended learning - especially the idea that students get instant feedback through their practice. I'm interested in checking out H5P.org more. Thanks for the tip! #edtechteamonline
