A little late but this week we participated in a Scientist in School workshop about Electricity. It was a really fun and engaging experience for Grade 6s. We learned a lot about circuits, conductors and switches!💡🔌⚡️

Grade 6s made paper circuits this week. We reviewed the differences between simple and parallel circuits. They did a great job troubleshooting and working together on this experiment. 💡💡💡💡🔌🔦

Never a dull moment at Our Lady of Peace

Paper Airplane Challenge complete! ✈️ 📝 Grade 6s created paper airplanes, we tested them out and recorded the distances. Grade 7s helped us to record accurate measurements and average distances. Great work!

We experimented with dissolving different sized particles of salt in water today🌡️🧫🧪Grade 7s used their knowledge of pure substances and mixtures to lead the Grade 6s with this experiment. They did a great job taking initiative with their learning. Our Lady of Peace
