Happy Earth Day everyone! 🌎❤️ This morning we headed outside to do a community cleanup. This helps support this years theme of Planet vs. Plastic and gives us this opportunity to treat our environment and community with kindness and respect!

We broke for a strategy meeting partway through our tchoukball game to plan how to work together as a team, capitalize on offensive plays and collaborate when on defense!

The Grade 5’s experimented today with creating a Non Newtonian fluid called Oobleck. Is this a solid or a liquid? 🤷🏼‍♀️

Gym class today had us taking a break from track. Today, we are hungry hungry hippos and participated in a few challenges! 🦛

The Grade 5’s have been experimenting about the changes in the states of matter. We examined melting, freezing, condensation, evaporation and discussed sublimation and deposition.

Our grade 6s showed their knowledge about the phases of the moon through this delicious test!
