First day of 4th grade McElwain Elementary! Today was his first time seeing the school as well and he was blown away. 🥰 He says it's soooooo big, it's like high school! I would say day 1 was a success, he was tired. #passedoutcold

It might be the 2nd day of in-person learning, but these kiddos are ROCKING math stations. So happy Katy ISD provided shields for students because now we can play partner games together! We may need our own supplies but they didn't seem to care. 🥰 McElwain Elementary

We starting learning how to multiply today by using the strategy of equal groups! We read Amanda Bean's Amazing Dream and helped solve all her counting problems. Multiplying is a faster way to count! McElwain Elementary

I absolutely love the thinking on this board! First day of arrays and already thinking about how to get our answer. She could have counted by 5s but her brain saw it this way. This is why I ❤️ math, everyone can solve it their own way! McElwain Elementary
