Our students worked so hard this week, so we celebrated at the end of the day with a Fun Friday activity. We enjoyed a Disney “this or that” movement activity where students chose a favorite out of two Disney movies and did the exercise that corresponds with their choice. 🤩

This week, our class practiced their reading strategies with a partner on the rug before independent reading time. We are building our stamina by reading a little more each day! North Side School #ewlearns

We enjoyed learning about our community on our Village of East Williston walking trip. Getting to speak to some of our community helpers (like the mayor, librarians, and firefighters) makes us appreciate our community so much more. ♥️ #ewlearns

This week, our writers celebrated the end of the Small Moments unit in Writer’s Workshop! Writers each had a chance to share their published piece, ask questions, and give compliments at our publishing party! #ewlearns
