The varsity MSHS_GirlsBasketball battled against a strong Effingham team this afternoon in a conference match up. The final score was 57-39 falling in favor of the Hearts. The Bulldogs were led by Kylie Waldinger with 10 points, Reese Gallier with 8 points, and Grace Buckley with 6 points.

JV MSHS_GirlsBasketball lost a hard fought battle against Effingham, 33-31. Courtney Fonte ended with 9 points. Hannah Creel and Hannah Martin ended with 7 and 6 points, respectively.

Before the game, the MSHS_GirlsBasketball had the honor of presenting a check to the TNT Fireworks, the Special Olympics Basketball team who played in between the JV and Varsity games.
