✰ THE MOMENT ✰ Hard work pays off!! Seeing children’s faces light up when it “clicks” is one of the best feelings. My number 1️⃣ goal as a student teacher & future educator is for the students to KNOW anything is POSSIBLE. As well as be goal driven! 👏🏼

I just finished teaching the Earth and Space Unit in 1st grade! We learned about shadows, seasons, earth, sun, space, stars, and the moon! 🌙 students created and measured shadows using clay, a stick and a flashlight!

In our Earth and Space unit we also heard from a local meteorologist!! Joe talked us through some of the different moon phases we see. 🌙🌗

Students created the 8 different moon phases using OEROS! They also got to eat one when they got done :) this was so fun for them!

Congrats to this student for receiving Miss Carey’s golden coin!
