Using diverse stories to analyze character traits and theme. These stories tell tales of brave characters facing adversity and show us how we can combat hate in our lives. We also identified how we see ourselves represented in these stories Lumen Christi

Moving on from analyzing stories to now working together to create stories. We are creating stories around types of conflict we see in our school and community. Students have begun today by determining their conflict, protagonist/antagonist and settings ✏️ Lumen Christi

So proud of the hard work of the grade 6/7s class. We learned about the difference between persuasive and informational writing, analyzed speeches and then worked on decimal operations task cards. Very proud of you friends!

Grade 7/8s started creating their maps of Jerusalem during the time of Jesus. They listened to the significance of each place during Holy Week and what they would've looked like at the time. Great work friends! Lumen Christi

Grade 7/8s heard the Easter story and recreated what Jerusalem would've looked like at the time of Jesus. We discussed the significance of each room. Students then explored Bible passages relating to each day of holy week and each significant place. Great job 👍 Lumen Christi
