My favorite way to review before a unit exam! Capture the Flag! 🏳️ Students work collaboratively to answer the questions on their study guide. I check them in chunks and if correct they capture a flag! (Students do not know the flag point values until the end of the game.)

Students ended their first science unit by collaboratively filling out an Amplify reasoning tool, using the carousel feedback strategy to provide feedback to other groups, and finally writing an argument to answer the unit question!

Vocabulary musical chairs is such a fun way to brain dump and review before a test! Students sit when the music stops and write/draw anything they know about the vocabulary word!🎶 This gets them up and moving and holds all students accountable for their learning!🎵

Today we used the Kagan Structure Showdown to review for science. Students loved leading their table’s discussion as the captain!
