Red River High School ELD classes in Grand Forks spent time making connections to SEL and their mental and physical challenges by watching the 14 Peaks Documentary on Netflix and having a team-building collaboration with Grand Forks Public Schools Mental Health Coordinator.

After reading Romeo and Juliet students had a character and had to create art (symbol, object) to represent the character using playdoh. Students did a gallery walk to look at everyones art piece and had to use textual evidence to make guesses about the character. Dakota TESOL
