What a gorgeous email 🥰 This student arrived in the UK in October 2023 having not been taught a British-based education yet alone any GCSE content before and yet he achieved a 5 in both English Language and Literature! A great reminder of why I love teaching.

At a secondary level, more so with exam classes, once you strip out behaviour as a factor the next big ticket item is subject knowledge. Without this you cannot truly stretch & challenge kids.
