A sincere thank you to those people who have not yet taken fiwntheir holiday lights. Driving this morning in the cold, foggy northern Plains, on my way to an early morning appointment, these little pools of light coming from these homes lifted my spirits.

Nearly 40 years ago I gave this potato masher, that had belonged to my grandmother, to a dear friend who collected them. Today I was visiting her and she returned it to me. I was thrilled!
