5th graders have been learning about human impact on the Earth's sphere. This week, they worked as teams through the scientific method to try to clean oil from the "ocean" without doing more damage to their water source.

3rd graders have been learning about weather hazards and used their knowledge to create a structure to protect a home from flooding.

I had a great Saturday at the USNA for learning more about STEM.

2nd graders are experiencing the simulation for creating precipitation using shaving cream and food coloring. Putting the two together creates rain under the cloud. One just showed a small shower.😉
