The kids worked hard to accomplish over 100s of random acts of kindness this month to fill up our grinches heart. We celebrated big to end our year strong! 💚❤️ Also they were so happy to get their board games.

Todays Valentine cards we’re a little more sweet. A parent made these cute jars for each child. The Ss wrote a compliment, something kind or an appreciation they have for all their peers. Now they have a jar reminder of how awesome they are!! 🤍

Today we did some writing partner work using my favorite strategy, P.Q.P. Each student used their checklist to praise, ask questions and provide a polish. This helped my kids refocus on what to revise based on their peers feedback. #tcrwp #lex1literacy #cesaviators

Today my students met their pen pals from Riverbank Elementary. They found out they are all in 4th grade and saw that they have similar qualities as them!! We love all ways to write and communicate as Aviators!

To celebrate the end of our Tiger Rising unit we drew the recurring images from the story that we thought represented the book best. The twist is to do it like the creation of the Sistine Chapel, for the character Sistine, in our novel. #tcrwp #lexoneliteracy #cesaviators
