Look at these Super Writers adding more pages to their scrolls! We are learning that when we finish one page, we can think about what else we have to teach about our topic and then we can add more pages!

These Super Readers love rereading their old favorite storybooks! When we reread a storybook, we remember more of the story, and that means we can say more and more on each page!

It is super important to learn your own name by heart!!! ❤️ Students loved using their name cards to put the letter cards of their own names in the correct order!

Students are practicing saying the word they want to write, stretching it like a rubber band, and then recording the sounds they hear! So proud of their hard work!!! 🎉

This week during Shared Reading we read The Jigaree! We carried this over into Shared Writing time and extended the text to write our very own class version of the story! #TroyUnion

Today we learned why rules are so important! We worked in small groups to draw pictures of what would happen if one of our class rules wasn’t followed. When we were finished, we shared our thinking/drawings with the class. So proud of what they came up with! #TroyUnion
