Being able to have students immediately hang their art on the wall as they finish is a perk of having my own homeroom this year. We may need to line the art room walls with bulletin boards for '21-'22!

I started a cross-curricular unit (Ss are making a Sesame Street-like show in Spanish) with 7/8 before Spring Break. Having rotated to 5/6, I come into the art room each day to find new puppets, and I can't even deal with how cute they are.

Middle schoolers at Browne Academy started the year with a focus on one of our core values - community. Eighth graders set up the community art project by measuring, arranging, and painting, while all grades used line, pattern, and texture to create a unique individual.

Our Browne Academy Fiber Art elective students are creating their own fabric patterns, which we'll print and turn into masks, and I love what I'm seeing so far.

I mean, I'm not saying Australia won because I was working on my fiber art sample as the game was played, but...
