A great way to make friends in a new class is to play together.

Today, Grade 5s worked in groups to match pictures with descriptions to learn about human organs.

We had a great discussion about what motivates people to immigrate to a new place, leaving behind a familiar way of life. Many connections were made during this conversation.

This was so much fun! Looking forward to trying this with 5/6-1

Using sensory details to describe a celebratory meal such as Thanksgiving dinner or an Eid party, etc. We realized that even though our celebrations and cuisine may be different, the traditions of celebrating with family and friends is the same world over.
