On the 10 of July 1956, Solomon Mahlangu was born. Solomon Kalushi Mahlangu, was a soldier of Umkhonto we Sizwe (MK), the armed wing of the African National Congress (ANC), who was executed by hanging in Pretoria Central Prison, was born on the 10th of July 1956 in Mamelodi.
