Our children’s school experience will be shaped less by the grade you give them, and more by the relationship you have with them. #BreakingBold #ThursdayThoughts #edchat

Today’s vocabulary lesson. Paradox: A statement that, despite apparently sound reasoning, leads to a conclusion that seems senseless, logically unacceptable, or contradictory. See also: Reopening schools & delaying democracy; both in the name of safety. #edchat #ThursdayThoughts

One fact that surprised me during this video was that the LinkedIn age was lowered to 13! Why would a 13-year old need business contacts???? #2610tech

Another fact that surprised me was that grandparents are the fastest growing Twitter population! I cannot picture my grandma tweeting 😂 #2610tech

If I had a classroom, I could use this video to show students how important it is to be comfortable using technology, ESPECIALLY if they were moving on to higher education or the job market!!

I explored Adriana B 's WebQuest on our solar system and I loved it! I really enjoyed the way her Process tab was separated by planet because I feel that the students in her age group would find navigating this page super easy! #2610tech

I also looked at Olivia Kuhrt 's WebQuest for high school history. I really like that students were encouraged to explore whichever parts of the information they chose, and not only assigned events. #2610tech

My first aha moment was the sheer number of different components that have to be included in a lesson plan. I had no idea that so much work and detail went into a lesson plan. #2610tech

My second aha moment was Bloom's Taxonomy. The pyramid of six categories was very interesting, and I had never considered that there were so many levels of learning. I'm sure this will come in handy when evaluating my student's learning levels. #2610tech
