Is this the reason that students have math anxiety? Because they can’t ask deeper questions without being met with negativity and shame?? The origin of math is incredibly interesting and we don’t spend enough time allowing kids to explore. There are connections to be made

F2F school starts tomorrow. Important reminder that many students are coming in with trauma from the last few months (COVID and the social injustices/racism in our country). Be understanding, thoughtful and a good listener.

Apparently it’s #nationaldogday I just adopted a dog named Shea a few weeks ago. He is truly an amazing dog, so sweet and gentle. I decided to fence in part of my backyard (spent thousands), within one day Shea has made a mockery of my fence 😂😂 No remorse! #SheaHatesFences
