About to go on BBC BBC Radio 4 Today to discuss the Criminal Cases Review Commission.

Thanks to everyone who listened in to the discussion about the CCRC on BBC Radio 4 Today this morning.

I’m grateful I got to talk on BBC Radio 4 Today about the need to implement existing Parliamentary Committee recommendations about CCRC reform that can and should already have been implemented. It’d be great to hear shadow Justice Secretary Steve Reed commit to doing so.

But the main reason I went on was because I think often about my client Alvin Black. If Alvin was still alive he’d have urged me to take the opportunity to say publicly ‘Alvin Black was an innocent man’. So I’m glad I at least got to do that for him today.
