Yesterday we continued out classroom community building by reading ‘Do Unto Otters’ and having a discussion about the golden rule. S’s created the golden rule chart with some personal examples. Chart is posted in our google classroom so we can continue to update it all year

A little brain challenge to start our week this week. Students started with individual planning time, group revision time and then were given 20 mins of building time. Longest chain was 4.21m! Well done 5/6-1!

Today is National Day for Truth and Reconciliation and #OrangeShirtDay. The day's intent is to honour survivors, their families, and communities, and ensure public commemoration of the history/legacy of residential schools remains a vital component of the reconciliation process.
