Nineteen years ago, Carl Wayne and I said “I do” and began a life full of adventures. It’s somewhat rare to find your soulmate in high school, that one person who just completely gets you and loves you unconditionally. I’m so glad we found each other all those years ago.

Please help me in wishing Carl Wayne a very Happy Birthday today! He is a wonderful husband, pet dad, and teacher and a true fan of the Iowa Hawkeyes and the St. Louis Blues. My life is infinitely better with him in it.
