Easter school went well today with my N5 classes! We focused on exam question structure and areas of the course we were unsure on. Snakes & Ladders was played and we made revision clocks, as well as a command word PPQ relay race! A perfect day to kickstart revision🐣📚

The countdown is on! My National 5 class have worked so hard this year and we are counting down until the big day. One last push, and I’m sure they’re going to smash it 👏👏👏

Today was the second day of a 2 day IDL event for S2 at Hillpark Secondary. They were tasked with creating a new social media app that promoted positive mental wellbeing. Very impressed with the work my lot produced and their hard work. Thank you to Mrs Downie for organising! 📚📱👏

I can’t believe my probation year is nearly over. I have learnt so much, met lots of amazing pupils and worked with so many supportive colleagues. Whilst I’m sad to be saying goodbye to Hillpark, I’m so happy to be starting my next chapter with a permanent job at Firrhill High School📚.

An emotional last day at Hillpark - I’ve had a brilliant year here with amazing pupils and just as wonderful colleagues. It’s a sad farewell, but summer is very much needed! Excited for my new adventure in August.
