The pro-life people in this country are, in fact, also the ones opening homes to foster + adopt children, giving money + time to love the poor, and building a culture of life. Abortion advocates try to shame pro-life ppl by saying they don’t love the born. It’s based on lies.

Honest question. Is suggesting that a pregnant woman doesn't bungee jump, drink alcohol, skydive, or take drugs, an 'attempt to control her body'? Or could it simply be that we realise there is clearly another life at stake? 🤔

I have. I've tried. I've tried everything. Every brand. Homemade. Alternatives. Sweetened with dates/Stevia/vanilla. I officially surrender. All I want is this coffee creamer made entirely of chemicals. This is who I am for the rest of my life.

When we look at the nastiness pervading our culture, it’s obvious that, contrary to what we constantly hear, our society’s problem is not a lack of self-love—it’s too much. We are so relentlessly obsessed with ourselves that we have very little love left over for others.

People are going to walk away. This is a harsh world, the devil’s ruthless and our Christian witness crumbles. But Jesus is not like us. He’s true. He’s patient. Not scandalized or scared off. When we’ve exhausted every replacement for Him & miss Him so, there He’ll be. Faithful.

Grace never seems fair until you need a little.

I did not surrender to a calling of man when I was 18 years old. I surrendered to a calling of God. It never occurs to me for a second to not fulfill it. I will follow Jesus - and Jesus alone - all the way home. And I will see His beautiful face and proclaim, Worthy is the Lamb!

Volunteered in Ben’s kinder class and slipped right back back into teacher-mode. Sometimes you can be called to multiple vocations...like motherhood AND education. #imissit

I do not know where I would be without the Lord.

At least these are the things I’m saying to myself today. And one more for those who need to hear it: Not everyone out there who disagrees with you is out to get you. Social media blows everything out of proportion. We are not nearly as loved or hated as they’d like to suggest.

There is none so blind as the one who sees only the sins of the other. We are in for a shock when we finally make it into God’s presence. A total of zero of us will have gotten all of it right. Thank God for the cross.

Don't let being "right" talk you out of being kind. Live in Grace; Walk in Love.

We have no idea what the coming year holds but this I can promise you based on the unsurpassed authority of Scripture: our God’s going to be faithful. He’s going to be good. He’s going to love us & be our light in the darkness. He’s going to keep His word. He cannot do otherwise.

Sweet mamas, let me encourage you from the bottom of my heart with 3 simple mothering perspectives you must hang on to: 1. Don’t take too much credit for their good. 2. Don’t take too much credit for their bad. 3. Don’t try to raise a good child. Raise a God-following adult.

Our problem following Jesus is we're trying to be a better version of us, rather than a more accurate reflection of Him.
