I remain afraid that in our effort to reform education, we may lose what has always been great about education, the connection between a teacher and a student.

Don't just evaluate teachers, add value w/ aspirational conversations! ask them: * How are you doing * What have we done well * What do you think we could do better * Are we utilizing your strengths * What do you need from me * How can I help you achieve professional goals

This is so true, especially for discipline issues with students! 🙌
