K-1 STEM club today! We learned about how animal adaptations help them survive from predators. We played a candy camouflage game to model mimicry and then we camouflaged an animal in their habitats. Hitchcock Elementary Mrs. Parks 💕 Millard Public Schools
4-5 STEM Club! Today we learned about casein plastic and polymers. We turned milk into plastic by adding vinegar to change the pH levels. Each student got to make their own shape to take home after they dry and harden! Hitchcock Elementary Millard Public Schools John Schwartz

2-3 STEM Club. W talked about the history of triangles and how to find the perimeter of a triangle. Students found the perimeter with the activity “Magic Triangle”. They used cubes to help them find sides of 9. It’s not as easy as it looks! Hitchcock Elementary Millard Public Schools
