I took over a class in January, so I started meeting them in person today. I am apparently taller in person then I seem to be on a Zoom screen.

Even though skinny jeans are out, I am rocking mine at IS 75 to support Rare Disease Day! As someone living with PIC, a rare inflammatory ocular disorder, it makes me happy to see our students supporting this day! So proud of the students who organized this! #RareDiseaseDay

My classroom decor has a very “Ted Lasso took my teacher choice check” vibe and I am here for it.

Planed a lesson from the @TCRWP Writing Realistic Fiction book and worried it would be too hard for my kids. They had to plot their stories using one of Kurt Vonnegut’s story arcs. I went for it anyway and guess what, they got it and nailed it!! Proud teacher moment 😃🥳
