Y9 & 10 enjoyed a fascinating morning with filmmaker, mountain climber & writer Matt Dickinson. They heard about his adventures & how he's included these in his writing. Later, 13 Y10 students took part in a writing workshop. They created fantastic pieces inspired by Antarctica!

FINALLY finished ‘The List’ 📚 It certainly raised some topical issues with social media and sexism and I found myself embroiled in the emotions of it. It took me out of my reading comfort zone for sure. Now to choose my next read from these excellent candidates…🤔Yomi Adegoke

Just finished the staff book club read for this term. Such a powerful book: deals with war, sexuality and class in a very emotive way throughout. 📚 📖 I miss the characters already 🥺
