As part of our P7/S1 transition project, P7 Greenbrae School have now made templates and cardboard versions of their city. Our school cook visited to give us lots of hints and tips. Now we are really looking forward to baking and icing our work Oldmachar Academy. ๐ง๐ง๐ง
In RME, P7 Greenbrae School learned about the Easter story. We then went outside to do the Easter trail Must Know Bible Stories. We had to identify 8 parts of the story, think about how the people would have felt and crack a code. โ๏ธ
After our jamboard about what we would like to learn during our IDL mission, "Down at the Bottom of the Garden" P7 Greenbrae School planted tomato and cosmos seeds. They are now watered and near the windows in the classroom.๐ฑ๐ ๐ผ
We ticked off the first activity on our P7 bucket list with an egg drop in STEM this week. Lots of collaboration, integrity, and leadership skills were used by the pupils. Great work P7 Greenbrae School.๐ฅ๐๐ฅ
P7 Greenbrae School created their "show piece" in the S1/P7 transition "Bake off" project.We all worked exceptionally hard, used our resilience and a whole range of meta skills.Tomorrow, we return to Oldmachar Academy to present our work to the judges.Which group will be star bakers?๐

P7 @greenbraeschool were at Oldmachar Academy to take part in a transition session with our Active Schools Co-ordinator. They played some games and took part in a leadership challenge. ActiveSports Oldmachar Academy
Emily Scottish SPCA ๐พ visited P7 Greenbrae School to deliver an interesting workshop. We enjoyed learning about the welfare of different animals and playing a memory game where we learned lots of facts.๐โโฌ๐๐ฆ๐๐ฆ
P7 Greenbrae School enjoyed their visit to wagamama uk. They learned how to use chopsticks, made smoothies, weighed ingredients and tasted noodles! Thank you to the staff who were amazing.๐

Yesterday P7 Greenbrae School did a litter pick at Scotstown Moor. We learned a lot about the plants, trees wildlife and the SSSI area. Rob, from Aberdeen Ranger Service, also told us about the history of the area.โป๏ธ๐ณ
P7 Greenbrae School had lots of fun playing at King's Church today. They also had a tour of the building, found out about the Foodbank and climbed over 240 steps to the top of the tower. Many thanks to Mrs R for a fantastic day.๐๐๐
P7 Greenbrae School thoroughly enjoyed their visit to PizzaExpress Union Square. They identified and tasted ingredients and made their own margarita pizzas. They all agreed they were delicious!๐
On the P7 bucket list of things to do before they leave Greenbrae School was a visit to nursery. Lots of fun was had and some didn't want to leave!๐
For part of their learning in IDL, P7 Greenbrae School have been working in pairs to research and present a project on an organ in the human body. They also made a model or created a piece of art. The standard of work has been high. Well done P7.๐ง ๐
Dr Houssen University of Aberdeen visited P7 Greenbrae School to deliver another amazing morning of science. They used a powerful microscope, created volcanoes, made bubbles, played with slime and had lots of fun. Many thanks to Dr Houssen.๐ฌ๐ซง
