This week Phelps Center 5-8th graders worked on the perseverance skills through the creation of modular origami and flexagons! Frustrations showed but they worked through it like champs!

WINGS 5-8th grade Culinary Chemists contrasted starch transformation in steamed versus air fried potatoes. Students learned about amylose and amylopectin content in starch and applied these concepts in their food experiments. Karlee Carlson Phelps Center
