Teachers ARE ALREADY heroes. They have been incredible throughout this crisis. All they are asking is to to do their work in a safe way, showing the kind of grown-up responsibility I wish the government & press possessed. I feel absolutely disgusted when I see them attacked.

I set my Barrow Island Grasmere class a challenge to design a new cover and title for the book they are reading at the moment. This was one of my Y4's designs for the cover of SF Said 's Phoenix. I am now intrigued.

My Y5 nephew is loving reading Phoenix at school SF Said and I'm persuading my sister that he should read Varjak next as it's amazing - I've read it 4 times...I think...I've lost count!!! They love cats so it's a no-brainer!
