Yesterday we visited the lab and were learning about rhythm and how to play on time with a piece of music. We really enjoyed learning about the glockenspiel and having a go! 🎶

Today we revisited place value using our maths resources. We remembered that each digit in a 2 number has a different value and we demonstrated our knowledge using the tens rods and ones cubes. We then put numbers in order from smallest to biggest! 🔢

Today was a crafty day! 👩🏼‍🎨 We used our chalk pastels to create a backdrop for our robot, Roz. We drew what we imagined the island looked like then added our robot silhouette. What amazing results! Well done, P3! 😊

During outdoor learning yesterday we completed a scavenger hunt. We used iPads to collect the evidence needed to complete the task. Superb teamwork with @LauriestonP3 and Primary 4.👏🏻

Well done to A for becoming the first Laurieston legend of this year! This week's value was respect, which she always shows to all staff and classmates at all times 😊👏

Today we visited Callendar woods for some den building fun with Primary 4 and P4/3 & Miss Miller. We used ropes and tarpaulins to create awesome shelters! A few of us also went on a bug hunt and found some creepy creatures! 🐛🐌

Yesterday we visited the Glen with P4/3 & Miss Miller and Primary 4 for outdoor learning where we made Fairy Dens! We worked in small groups to sketch then used natural materials to make our tiny houses! Hope the fairies of the Glen love their new houses 😊🪻🌼🌷🧚

Today in literacy we looked at comprehension and answered questions from the brilliant Julia Donaldson book "Room on the broom". We matched up the correct answers with questions relating to the book to show our understanding! 🧹🪄🧙

We focused on making autumn tree art pictures this afternoon 🍂 excited to see them dried and up on the wall 😊
