2021-2022 Scooter Hockey Champs. It came down to overtime against the teachers, but these kiddos had a lot heart and amazing teamwork! (Don’t mind the sweaty teacher in the back 😂)

28 hearts that are now a part of mine…28 minds that helped me stretch and grow my own…28 different personalities that forged into one classroom community…and it ends with 28 notes filled with my hopes, wishes and dreams for them as they head off for their next adventures!

They may be going off to middle school, but they are still children who just want to have fun! BUBBLES!!

Maps and legends and scales…OH MY! Ss explored with breakout rooms, playdough, and collaboration in SS this week!

There was some serious collaboration and critical@thinking today in math. Ss “chugged” along in Estimation Stations in NYC, Chicago, and San Fran. Choo Choo!!

On Friday, we finished our book clubs. Ss created advertisements/reviews to share with classmates from other book clubs. It looks like it was successful because they all want to read the other books! 📚 ❤️ 😂

Last week students worked on a 10 minute goal. Some of my ❤️s worked on 400 jumping jacks, learning a sentence in Hebrew, and creating a 3D human form. 😍 All of them crushed it!

Here are the fall book raffle winners! Thank you to everyone who donated to our classroom for the book fair and ordered books through your Scholastic book club flyer. We were able to add several new titles to Room 29!

We had a party in math while dividing decimals! Woot Woot! Raise the roof! (Or at least raise the decimal in the dividend up to the quotient 😉😂)

Thank you, Mr. Schneider, for coming today and tell us about city planning! Ss were able to see One Loudoun now vs 40+ years ago. The zoning maps and a close up of the Chick-fil-a were so cool! The kids are pumped for the upcoming math project!
