We've been building our stamina & becoming indp readers during Read to Self at #fullermeadow. Grateful Flint Public Library let me borrow so many wordless books for my Ss to build their oral language, vocab, & comprehension skills while using pictures to tell a story! #WeAreReaders

We had our first Kindness Fair at #fullermeadow and #howemanning last Friday to celebrate #WorldKindnessDay!  Classes rotated through 3 stations.  At this station, students decorated their classmates t-shirts with kind words.  These stamps from TheStampMaker.com are awesome! (1/3)

At the 2nd station, ea grade made thank you and/or Thanksgiving cards for community organizations. We're going to fill a lot of people's buckets for the Thanksgiving season! This was a great way for #fullermeadow & #howemanning students to spread kindness in their community.(2/3)

Due to rain yesterday, the Health and Wellness sponsored "Yoga in the Park" event changed to Yoga in #howemanning gym. It was still a peaceful, mindful experience that participants of all ages enjoyed. Meredith Winchell did a phenomenal job leading this event! #fullermeadow

I love when students connect their free play to what we are learning! We've been learning about American symbols in social studies. At the beginning of the week, we had the bald eagle and today we had an architect who built the base and the Statue of Liberty! #fullermeadow
