Can someone please explain to me how men have such naturally long and voluminous eyelashes and we women have to use mascara to get anything close? I don’t understand.

Women: Never apologize for fiercely advocating for your health.

When a woman has lost a baby, do not: - offer her perspective (“at least...” or “it could be worse” statements) - ask her to babysit your baby - recommend adoption - suggest what may be *wrong* DO: - be there, listen, and validate her pain

Life may break my heart, make me question my purpose, and blur my vision. In fact, it has. But I am no victim. When it’s all said in done, I will still stand in victory.

No one is going to believe in the value of your business unless you do, first. Operate with excellence and promote with confidence.

Stop ignoring the lessons you learned growing up and the things you loved to do before the world told you what you SHOULD do. Step into what you were MADE to do.

Women: It is OKAY to give yourself grace, to step back, and to say “no” to doing things that just don’t feel right or good for you — even from the things you think others might expect you to do.

I think we’ve put this unnecessary pressure on ourselves to find the ONE forever calling on our life that we are supposed to do until kingdom come... when in reality, God can call us to different things in different seasons.

It may be a crappy chapter... or a crappy ten chapters... with no happy ending in sight. But dang it, I dare you to believe this with me: the sun will come out, and we will find a way to flourish right here in the messy middle. #OwnYourEveryday

I think we should make it a rule that small business educators make an effort to buy from + support their students businesses. #supportssmallbusiness

I find it backwards that so many Christian women feel *weird* about owning their expertise and excelling at what they do. If we do everything unto the Lord, we should be setting the standard, not playing small.

Make homemaking cool again. #ownyoureveryday

You might not have hit every single goal you had in mind a year ago But if your business survived 2020, that is an accomplishment. Celebrate that.

If you can face all things with strength and grace, you're a rare one. You're the overcoming kind. You're part of the astounding, world changing few.

Reminder: Your circumstances don’t define you.

Note to my younger self: Don’t take yourself so dang seriously, you don’t have to accomplish everything by 30, and have a lot more fun.
