Nothing like a problem solving activity to start a new year with my new anatomy besties.

They had enough of the string handcuffs yesterday so today we did some toothpick puzzles.

It’s been a while since you’ve heard from my besties and me. We’ve been busy learning all of the things. Here’s a little snippet of some of my besties earning some extra credit.

I ABSOLUTELY LOVE when my former students text me from college to let me know they’re doing great. So stinking’ proud of them!!

Don’t mind us. We’re just doing some mini labs to reinforce the structure functions of the skin.

The besties spent the last two days playing doctor. They looked at 12 case studies that highlighted the role of the skin in different situations. They had to explain what was going on with the patient and why the skin reacted the way it did.

One of my favorite days with the besties! Learning all about wounds and how they heal while having a little Halloween fun.

Today was a very exciting day for my besties! We got to watch a LIVE aortic valve replacement and placement of an LVAD. (Well not the whole surgery because it won’t be finished until 5pm) RTHS Co-Principals Rich Township HS Career Academies

There’s nothing like playing some games on the first day back to help create a classroom of collaboration and community.
