Ozobot explored our communities! We explored the roles of government and structures when placing and critically thinking about what types of places to include. We also explored coding and critical thinking when deciding which codes to use and where to place codes to race.

Grade 1s engaged in an unplugged coding activity.We looked at creating a path for the gingerbread to follow and added candy and obstacles to differentiate our code. We plan to look at different cookies/treats we eat within our own homes to create our own stories.

Today we continue our learning journey with EV3! Our robot now tracks colour using the colour sensor and says hello when it locates the specified colour. We continue to explore if this code will be helpful in locating and finding an object.
