Today in nursery we practised our programming skills using BeeBots. We managed to send our BeeBots to the park for some fresh air 🌳 and the local shop! We then tried to make our own paths for the BeeBots to follow. #NationalCodingWeek TwinklScotland SLC STEM & Learning for Sustainability

Today in P1 we learned all about the Harvest Festival and why we might celebrate it! We then had a go at making our own scarecrow portrait or puppet 🍁

Yesterday we tried Montessori pin poking to make our own autumn pictures 🍁 Pin poking is a fab activity for helping children develop their concentration and coordination skills whilst improving their pincer grip. It’s lots of fun too! #earlyyears

Absolutely over the moon to have been offered a permanent class teacher post in an amazing school 🎉🤩

Last week we practised our subitising skills with the help of the colour monster 🎨 Children rolled the dice, matched the number to the number of sweets in a jar, then fed the hungry colour monster! It was so much fun and I was so impressed with the children’s subitising!🤩

I have had the best 6 months as an EYT with Inverclyde Council, I’m so grateful to have been part of the best wee team & to have worked with such amazing children 🤩❤️ Sad to be leaving, but I can’t wait for my new adventure as a permanent class teacher with Glasgow City Council🥳 #schoolsout
