A grade 1/2 student during our picnic today: I’m eating marshmallows AND I’m outside. Today’s the best day ever!

Room 12 and 9 released their butterflies at the Elgin Butterfly Waystation today! We’ve been following their progress for weeks now and keeping observation journals in our classrooms. This has been a magical process for everyone involved 🦋🥰

The Cambridge Firefighters dropped by for a visit at Elgin St PS this week and our primary students were so excited to meet them!

When the Humane Society visits your school… 😍

I came back to my class after an indoor recess to find everyone at their seats. No one was talking, but they all had huge smiles on their faces. I saw they were proudly waiting for me to notice their completed masterpiece 🥲💕 Titled: Many Indoor Recesses
