We picked up a Space Canoe! It is a Grumman, like Northrop-Grumman. The same company that built fighter planes (then used the excess aluminum after WWII for canoes) and lunar lander parts and….parts for the James Webb Telescope. You can clearly see the resemblance! #SpaceCanoe

Just got done prepping “Determining Atoms” lab. Stations have different numbers of particles for each items. The particles are balls like the ones you would see in a ball pit. Seeing atoms likes this makes things a lot easier! #iteachphysics

I’m watching the documentary“Class Action Park” about the now closed Action park in Vernon NJ. The film claims riders pulled 9g’s on this looped water slide. My quick math has it more like 3g’s, which is still crazy. Any other guesses? #iteachphysics

It’s always awesome seeing different approaches to the same problem. This group put tape down for the position of each car after every second. They were then able to predict where the cars would hit in a nice little window. #iteachphysics

Some plastic film and a white board maker makes a quick a way to show free fall acceleration. Kids opened the video in QuickTime then just advanced it frame by frame with the arrow keys. #iteachphysics
