WHEW!!! What a great first day! We are learning classroom/school rules and procedures here in Kinder, and these kiddos rocked it on their first day! I am blessed with some AMAZING kiddos in my class, and I can’t wait to see where our learning takes us! #readyforday2 #cecheetahs

Kindergarten ended their first week by going on a scavenger hunt around the building for Pete the Cat! Pete had to go back to his own school before we could catch up to him, but we still had so much fun exploring! As a class, we wrote a letter to Pete to thank him! #itsallgood

Our first Flashlight Friday was a success! Our Super Readers were using their strategies to read their books and were completely engaged! Whoever said reading was boring needs to ask a kindergartner or try using a flashlight next time!

Small groups can be a little daunting at first, but these Kinder kiddos have done an awesome job at learning how rotations work and becoming more independent while working in their stations. This way we are all focused on our work and small group!
