Year 5 were honoured to be invited to perform in Blessed Trinity RCC’s Carol concert this evening. The children sang and behaved beautifully and really enjoyed the opportunity to come together as part of the Romero CAT . Thank you Mr Sanderson for preparing them so well.

I was very proud of all the Year 5’s in how they performed and behaved tonight. It was nice to see all their hard work paying off performing in a lovely Christmas concert. Well done year 5 👏🏻

The children have enjoyed sewing this afternoon. They have started to make a Victorian elbow cushion, linking to the era we have been looking at in History.

We have enjoyed a lovely day in Year 5 learning all about the coronation. A nice celebration followed this afternoon which involved cake. Lots of happy children… I wonder why?😂

Today we say goodbye to our lovely Miss Cooke who is retiring after 20 years caring for our school. She will certainly be missed by children, staff, parents and community. We wish her a very well deserved retirement with her new puppy. If you see her today, please wish her well!

Great science lesson this afternoon looking at the force air resistance. We made paper aeroplanes and tested the theory that they will go faster if they are more streamlined 😁@staugustinesrcp

Enjoyed a fantastic week at Low Mill Outdoor Education Centre CIO with the Year 6’s. They all enjoyed and got on with an action packed week of great activities. I was very proud of all of them 👏🏻👏🏻
